A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their established civil engineering team delivering a portfolio of highways, infrastructure and environmental projects across the South West.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong order book, long-term secured work and a reputation for delivering complex civil engineering schemes for both public and private sector clients.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading project teams across multiple disciplines
    • Managing programme, cost and quality performance
    • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
    • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements
    • Managing subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
    • Identifying and mitigating project risks
    • Supporting commercial performance and contract administration
    • Driving continuous improvement across project delivery

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
  • Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects as a Project Manager or Senior Site Agent
    • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
    • Experience within highways, infrastructure, flood alleviation, utilities or general civil engineering projects
    • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
    • SMSTS, CSCS and relevant engineering qualifications
