Safeguarding Administrator – Primary School – Hounslow
Location: Hounslow, West London
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow is seeking a highly organised and diligent Safeguarding Administrator to support the school’s safeguarding and pastoral team.
This is a crucial role within the school, ensuring that safeguarding processes are followed effectively and that all concerns are recorded, monitored, and actioned appropriately using CPOMS.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safeguarding records using CPOMS
    • Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and wider safeguarding team
    • Log, monitor, and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with school policy
    • Liaise with staff, external agencies, and parents where appropriate
    • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with safeguarding and data protection regulations
    • Assist with safeguarding audits, reports, and documentation
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Have proven experience handling safeguarding cases within a school setting
    • Be confident using CPOMS or a similar safeguarding system
    • Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and statutory guidance (e.g. Keeping Children Safe in Education)
    • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
    • Be able to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
    • Have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
