Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safeguarding records using CPOMS
- Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and wider safeguarding team
- Log, monitor, and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with school policy
- Liaise with staff, external agencies, and parents where appropriate
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with safeguarding and data protection regulations
- Assist with safeguarding audits, reports, and documentation
- Have proven experience handling safeguarding cases within a school setting
- Be confident using CPOMS or a similar safeguarding system
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and statutory guidance (e.g. Keeping Children Safe in Education)
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Be able to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
