The Role:
- Teaching a Reception class within the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Planning and delivering engaging, creative and inspiring lessons
- Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
- Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress against EYFS objectives
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants, parents and carers
- Promoting high expectations and positive behaviour
- Contributing to the wider life of the school
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within EYFS or Early Years
- A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- A creative and child-centred approach to teaching
- A commitment to ensuring every child achieves their potential
