SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Provision – EYFS)
Location: Lambeth, SW2
Pay: £545 per week
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, term-time
A supportive and inclusive primary school in Lambeth (SW2) is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their newly established autism provision from September.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to children with autism and complex needs within the EYFS setting
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and communication development
• Assist in delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual needs
• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
• Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN (Autism preferred)
• Experience or confidence working with EYFS pupils
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
