Surveyor – | 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract - Yeovil
Covering Somerset, Devon & Dorset Areas
Are you passionate about improving housing standards and making a real difference to people’s lives?
We’re looking for a customer-focused Surveyor to join a Social housing company, helping ensure residents have safe, warm homes across Somerset, Devon and Dorset, with occasional travel to other locations as required.
This is an opportunity to use your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to tackle property issues, investigate building defects and support complex disrepair cases, while helping improve the quality and sustainability of existing homes.
🔑 Key responsibilities include:
Experience in building surveying, property maintenance or a similar construction or housing environment, alongside relevant Building Surveying studies at HNC/HND level or above.
You’ll be a confident communicator, an effective problem-solver and someone who can balance technical requirements with a compassionate, customer-first approach.
RICS membership would be advantageous but is not essential.
