Pertemps are currently recruiting experienced HGV 1 Drivers to work on behalf of a world-leading distribution company based in Basingstoke.
We are seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking drivers who can follow a structured delivery schedule and delivering great customer service at each location.

Overview of the role :

• - Temp to perm role
• -Two-weekly shift pattern with varied start times depending on shift pattern 
• -Shift pattern does include weekend 
• - Overtime after 8 hours and weekend hourly rate of £25.56 an hour
• -Deliver stock to retail stores in a timely and safe manner
• -Operate tail lifts and pallet trucks when required
• -Accurately complete all delivery documentation
• -Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects
• -Maintain a positive working relationship with team members
• -Comply with all driving regulations, including tachograph and working time rules

 

Shift Patterns :

 
Role 1 - Monday to Saturday Start times between – 10:00am – 14:00pm / Week 2 Monday to Friday Start times between – 10:00am – 14:00pm 

Role 2 – Monday to Saturday Start times between - 00:30pm – 03:30am / Week 2 Monday to Friday Start times between - 00:30pm – 03:30am 


Role 3 – Monday – Friday Start times between - 02:00am – 05:00am / Week 2 Monday to Saturday Start times between - 02:00am – 05:00am 

 
Requirements for this Role:
- Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)
- HGV 1 Licence with 6 months experience of driving
- CPC card and Digital Tacho Card
