An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established regional law firm in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident conveyancer who enjoys managing a busy caseload while taking responsibility for leading and developing a team of junior fee earners.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the residential conveyancing team, ensuring high standards of client care, efficient case management and the continued delivery of an excellent service.

The Role

You will handle a varied residential property caseload, overseeing transactions from instruction through to completion, while providing guidance, support and supervision to junior members of the team.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.

Supervising and supporting junior fee earners, helping them develop their technical skills and confidence.

Monitoring workflow, performance and deadlines to ensure transactions progress efficiently.

Maintaining high standards of client service and communication throughout the conveyancing process.

Assisting with the day-to-day management of the team, allocating work and addressing any issues as they arise.

Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

Contributing to the ongoing development and success of the residential property department.

The Candidate

Applications are invited from experienced residential conveyancers who are technically strong, commercially aware and confident in a supervisory or team management capacity.

You will ideally have:

A strong background in residential conveyancing and the ability to manage your own caseload independently.

Previous experience supervising, mentoring or managing junior fee earners.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to keep transactions moving.

Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

The confidence to lead by example and contribute positively to the wider team.

The Opportunity

Joining a leading regional law firm, you will have the opportunity to take on a senior position within an established residential conveyancing team, combining hands-on fee earning with team leadership and development.

If you are an experienced conveyancer looking for the next step in your career, with the opportunity to take greater responsibility for a team and its performance, this could be the ideal move.
