Crew Operative

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established and growing client for Crew Operatives to join their specialist team based in Coatbridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals to join a team responsible for the installation and removal of temporary roadway matting across sites throughout the UK.

The role offers excellent earning potential, with regular overtime available, as well as fully paid travel and accommodation when working away from home. The position will typically involve staying away Monday to Thursday, with an additional stay-out allowance provided.

• £14.00–£14.50 per hour, depending on experience
• Additional stay-out allowance

• Full-time, Monday to Friday – 45 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Installing and removing temporary roadway matting across a variety of sites
• Loading, unloading and safely handling roadway mats and associated equipment
• Working effectively as part of a team to complete installations safely and efficiently
• Following all site health and safety procedures and guidelines
• Travelling to sites across the UK as required
• Supporting the wider team with general site duties when required

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence – essential
• Valid CSCS Card – essential
• Willingness to work away from home Monday to Thursday when required
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work
• Reliable, hardworking and committed
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous construction, groundwork or site experience is desirable but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
