The Role As the KS2 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons for pupils with ASC and associated learning needs.
- Create a structured, nurturing learning environment that promotes independence, communication, and positive outcomes.
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to support individual learning journeys.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Foster confidence, resilience, and social development through creative and inclusive teaching approaches.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Experience working with pupils with Autism, SEND, or within a specialist provision (desirable).
- A strong understanding of autism-friendly strategies, including visual supports, communication approaches, and differentiated learning.
- Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for inclusive education.
